- Panchkula
Panchkula is spread out. The older sectors near Sector 5, the Mansa Devi Complex up towards the temple, the newer sectors across the Ghaggar, the Chandimandir side, Amravati Enclave and the growing colonies along the highway. For many residents, getting to a specialist means crossing the whole city or heading into Chandigarh.
Dr. Manan Bedi's clinic is in Sector 20, on the western edge of Panchkula along the Zirakpur–Panchkula–Kalka highway. This page is for Panchkula residents: which problems we see most often in the city, how to reach the clinic from different sectors, and how follow-up works.
Panchkula has a large population of retired people, many of them from the armed forces, given the closeness to Chandimandir, and from government services. Long-term conditions like COPD, lung fibrosis, bronchiectasis and heart-lung problems are common in this group. What helps most is regular follow-up with the same doctor, careful adjustment of inhalers and a clear plan for bad days.
Office-goers who commute to Chandigarh and Mohali often come in with a cough that started after a viral fever and never went away, or with snoring and daytime tiredness. See chronic cough and sleep apnea.
Panchkula's green belts and parks are part of what makes the city pleasant, but spring pollen and winter smog bring a seasonal rise in sneezing, cough and wheeze. See asthma and allergy care.
Health check-ups are common, and so are reports with words like "nodule" or "fibrotic strands". A pulmonologist can explain what the finding means and whether anything needs to be done. See X-ray and CT report review.

The evening OPD means most working people can come after office without taking leave.
For long-term lung conditions, the first visit is usually the longest: history, examination, a look at all old reports and a plan for tests if needed. Follow-up visits are shorter and focus on how you are doing, inhaler technique and adjusting treatment.
Tests such as PFT, sleep studies and bronchoscopy are done at Paras Health, Panchkula. If admission is ever needed, Dr. Bedi looks after patients there as well.
Between visits, if something changes, you can call or WhatsApp the clinic and the staff will tell you whether you need to come in.
For fever, diabetes, BP, thyroid and other general problems, Dr. Ranjana Bhatt (MBBS, DNB Medicine) also consults at the clinic. See the general physician page.
