Some lung problems can't be sorted out with an X-ray and a stethoscope alone. Dr. Bedi uses breathing tests and interventional pulmonology procedures to reach a clear diagnosis, and explains beforehand why a test is needed and what it involves. These tests and procedures are done at Paras Health, Panchkula, not at the Sector 20 clinic. The photos below are from EBUS and thoracoscopy procedures.

• PFT / Spirometry – lung function testing for asthma, COPD and ILD
• Sleep study – to diagnose sleep apnea
• Bronchoscopy and EBUS – samples from inside the airways and chest lymph nodes
• Pleural tapping and thoracoscopy – for fluid around the lungs
• X-ray and CT report review – an opinion on your scans
